| Four Hopkins communities (Cambridge Towers, Creek Point and Knollwood Towers East & West) united on Tuesday, August 3, to host National Night Out (NNO) for their residents! Christine Fox and Kenna Finnemore made yummy hot dogs and Thelma Fountain safely served them up to the residents. Our fantastic maintenance team, Bryce VanAuken, Odi Otiaba, Dustin Clark and Christopher McKellp hauled and set up the food, equipment and games. Local artisans showed off their goods and services: hand-poured candles, beautify painted portraits and cards, cleaning and organization and MAGIC! Hopkins Police also stopped by to meet our staff and residents. Chantal Maciel and Kenna Finnemore drew out names for 14 donated prizes ranging from $5 coffee gift cards to a pair of Minnesota Twins club seating tickets! In conjunction with NNO, all four sites collected a total of 171 food and toiletries that were donated to our local food shelf, serving the Hopkins and Minnetonka area. To unite our sites safely and give back to community was such a fun and rewarding experience and what made this even better is that this was done as one AWESOME SAGE Team. We look forward to more opportunities like this in the future! |
