]]> Congratulations to our Movin' May Step Challenge Top Walker – Rafaelito Rodriguez. He took 835,001 steps in the month of May! For achieving this amazing "feet", he was awarded a $250 Carhartt Gift Card. 

Rafaelito is the Maintenance Technician for four communities in Utah – Willow Pines, Apple Acres, Cambridge Park and Wood Haven. He works non-stop and is on his feet all day. He cleans and hands out all statements, notices and memos for each of these communities. He loves walking to stay healthy, young and in good shape. He has found that watching his diet has improved his health as well. While he does not technically "work out", he never stops moving. Even after IPG work hours, he spends his time on home projects or helping friends and family.
 
While participating in the Movin' May challenge, Rafaelito lost the Pacer app on his phone the second day of the competition. He lost two hours of walking while cleaning Cambridge Park. Luckily, his manager, Kathy Sadlowski, was able to help him get the app re-downloaded which led to him being our Top Walker! We can't believe that he should have had even MORE steps recorded for May! Great job, Rafaelito!

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Movin’ May Step Challenge. Congratulations to the top 3 winning teams! As an organization, we took a total of 53,596,150 steps in May.

]]> Columbus Greens, in Albany, Oregon, hosted a vaccine clinic and had 41 residents stop by for COVID, booster and/or flu shots. They had juice on hand, cookies and everyone that came appreciated not having to go to their physician or a local pharmacy. Plus, food boxes were donated by OSU (Oregon State University) for our residents. Each box was jam packed full of food and weighed about 18 pounds.
